Come along to Newstead on Sunday August 6 and take your seats for a 5-round quiz.

Prizes are phenomenal! And we’ll be running a raffle, too, so your chances of winning something are at the high end.

To stand a chance you will need to brush up on your local knowledge. Think the rail trail; bike riding; local features geographical, historic and cultural. We might embrace some of our no-longer-with-us Australians, you know who they are. And sport. What’s a quiz without sport? Oh, and books and art and music. Mostly local, though.

There will be NO silly questions about periodic tables, Sydney or the happiness index in Bhutan. Or other completely silly questions like when did the Norwegian parrot die, or what sort of oil is used when anointing kings, or how many baby rabbits can a rabbit have in a year.
